Summary of art 2012by *Aeturnal

Well I thought that now is the right time to do the yearly art summary.

I feel very mixed about this year to be honest. I think I've come on since last year and found a more comfortable and enjoyable style of working, but also, looking back at stuff from earlier this year, I think I've kind of become a lot more careless and lazy with my colouring and detailing. I was sick of taking ages with detail in my older stuff, but I don't know if maybe I'm going TOO simple with my illustration? I dunno.

Well I tried to pick things that I either personally still like or things which I think had an important impact on my style and/or way of working. The first one was originally posted at the very start of January 2012 whilst the last was posted yesterday.

This year has gone so quickly. TOO quickly, it's a bit dizzying. Let's hope I can make next year's one with a much more positive feeling! Happy new year everyone
